Founded in 1978, BRIEL introduced its first espresso coffee machine in 1982. The innovative character of this new model proved so successful that BRIEL decided to abandon its original mission of producing a large range of small electrical appliances in order to focus exclusively on domestic espresso machines.

This specialization soon turned BRIEL into a world brand in the espresso machine market, with a production capacity now exceeding half a million pieces per annum. BRIEL always rose to the challenge of meeting the ever-increasing demands of the domestic espresso machine market by introducing innovative solutions and constantly pursuing high standards of quality and good design.
