This lamp is a twist on one of L.C. Tiffany Studio?s most popular designs. The Dragonfly design is most often attributed to Clara Driscoll, one of the first female artisans employed by L.C. Tiffany. It was first introduced in 1899, then used in several variations through 1913. The timeless beauty of the natural world is captured in bright greens and oranges, with lacy, filigree-winged dragonflies as the imagery focus. It is a fine example of true Art Nouveau style.
