Solar Boating Anyone?

Today's News: The old phrase, 'All I want is a house and a boat' is about to be major-league revised. Solar boats, once thought of as just a kooky 60's psychedelic dream are about to become a lake's permanent and very happy new reality as more and more people begin to look into enviro-friendly recreation vehicles. Ironic it is, that an idea that used to be riddled with ridicule, is fast becoming a boating trend. Let's look at the reasons why.

1) Solar power is a non-pollutant energy force. It won't contaminate the water with oils or other toxic debris. 2) Solar boats are quiet...a fisherman's delight! What vacationer hasn't dreaded nasty water noise made by passing jet skis and motor boats? 3) They are cost effective. Who wants to haul out a gas jug with them each time they want to leisurely float about? Solar saves money!

And when there's extra cash in pocket, that new bathroom light fixture that needs replacing suddenly becomes an easy fix. Just order the light online and hire an electrician. Presto-bingo! Job done with time to spare and off to the lake we go!
